La Fetra Center to Host Free CarFit Checkup
On Thursday, April 14, 2016, La Fetra Center, 333 East Foothill Blvd., Glendora, will host a FREE CarFit Checkup from 1:00p.m.-4:30p.m.
CarFit is an educational program developed by AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association that teaches participants how to make their personal vehicle “fit” them to increase safety and mobility when they hit the road.
12 key areas, including, adequate space from the steering wheel, proper seat belt use, and properly adjusted head restraints, will be reviewed. It is not a driving test or mechanical inspection.
