
(City News Service) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today for the 11th consecutive day, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.063.
The average price has decreased 5.7 cents over the past 11 days and is 4.3 cents less than one week ago and six-tenths of a cents lower than one month ago but 23 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price rose 8.2 cents during the nine-day streak of increases that preceded the dropping prices.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 10th consecutive day today, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.043. It is 4.6 cents less than one week ago and eight-tenths of a cent lower than one month ago but 23.2 cents
higher than one year ago.
The Orange County average price has decreased 6 cents over the past 10 days, including six-tenths of a cent both Sunday and Monday.
