Detectives are working on possible leads in the attempted grand theft of televisions from Walmart Tuesday afternoon.
The incident was reported at 12:14 p.m. The man and woman attempted to leave with a shopping cart of televisions. The duo ran from the store after being confronted by loss prevention," said Sergeant Mike Henderson of Glendora Police.
The male suspect was seen by an arriving officer on foot, Henderson said.
Officers attempted to chase the man on foot after he was seen hopping a wall, according to scanner traffic.
The male suspect was last seen entering a suspect vehicle and the duo exited the Walmart lot, Henderson said.
The merchandise was left behind, Henderson said.
The male suspect is described as a man in his early 20s with a trimmed beard, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with medium-length brown hair.
The female suspect is in her early 20s with blonde hair.
The suspect vehicle is a white Ford Fusion with traffic collision damage to the front bumper.
