Motorcyclist Identified from Monday's Fatal 210 Hit and Run

A motorcyclist who was struck and killed in a hit and run accident Monday was identified today, according to official reports.

GLENDORA, CA — Authorities today identified a motorcyclist killed in a hit-and-run crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Glendora.

Raymundo Hernandez was in the westbound carpool lane east of Sunflower Avenue when a dark-colored SUV crossed in front of the motorcyclist from the far left main lane about 5:10 a.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Hernandez, a 53-year-old Victorville resident, lost control of the motorcycle, which went into a slide in the carpool lane. He was thrown from the bike and run over by a white, extended-cab Toyota Tundra that also had been traveling in the far left main lane, ahead of the motorcycle but behind the SUV, which kept going, according to the CHP.
