New Aquatics Center at COHS

Charter Oak Unified School District held a groundbreaking ceremony where the future aquatics center will begin construction.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. at  Charter Oak High School. 

The new aquatics center will be completely new construction, not a renovation and will feature a larger pool at 31 feet by 25 meters an improvement over the current pool.

The governing board considered a new aquatics center among their list of priorities in the district's new Facilities Master Plan and funding was made possible with the successful passage by the voters of Measure CO.
