[PHOTOS] White Supremacists March Against Illegal Immigration
The members of the National Socialist Movement lead the demonstration against what they called an uncontrolled flow of illegal immigrants in the region.
About two dozen Neo-Nazi demonstrators marched along Foothill Boulevard in Claremont Saturday to protest what they called an influx of illegal immigrants in the East San Gabriel Valley.
The skinheads bearing jackets with swastikas during Saturday's demonstration were from the National Socialist Movement. The Los Angeles Times reported that the group encountered 200 immigrant rights activists and spectators during the demonstration.
Jeff Hall, southwest regional director of the National Socialist Movement, told the Los Angeles Times that the group had been invited by Claremont residents concerned about the number of illegal immigrants in the area, and what they considered the college communityβs liberal stance on illegal immigration.
