Police Blotter: A Look At Calls For Service in Glendora

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 9
11:04 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 600 block of South Grand Avenue.

12:01 p.m. - Residential burglary was investigated in the 1000 block of West Leadora Avenue.

2:47 p.m. - Residential burglary was investigated in the 2300 block of East County Club Drive.

2:54 p.m. - Residential burglary was reported in the 1900 block of East Duell Street.

5:08 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Kohl's, 1225 South Lone Hill Avenue. Arrested was Juan Marquez, 20, on suspicion of burglary and petty theft. Marquez was issued a citation and released.

7:12 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted on Arrow High east of Lone Hill Avenue. Arrested was Gardner Jones, 67, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Jones was cited and released.

Tuesday, Dec. 10
12:26 a.m. - Police investigated a burglary report in the 1300 block of East Gladstone Street.

6:19 a.m. - Vandalism was investigated in the 900 block of East Route 66.

11:08 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted on Citrus Avenue at Arrow Highway. Arrested was Stephen Clark, 54, on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place. Clark was cited and released.

12:47 p.m. - Vandalism was investigated in the 700 block of East Claraday Street.

4:53 p.m. - Police investigated a violation of child custody report in the 1200 block of South Barranca Avenue.

Wednesday, Dec. 11
3:13 a.m. - Grand theft auto was investigated in the 700 block of East Route 66.

10:56 a.m. - Police investigated a recovered stolen vehicle in the 500 block of West Baseline Road.

12:13 p.m. - A theft in progress was reported at Vons, 435 West Foothill Blvd. Officers detain one suspect in his car, while another had fled prior to the arrival of officers.

12:39 p.m. - Fraud was reported in the 1100 block of East Crown Street.

5:32 p.m. - Police investigated a family disturbance in the 200 block of West Carter Drive.

11:15 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted at Citrus College, 1000 West Foothill Blvd. Arrested was Kyle Gerkey, 23, on suspicion of DUI, exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level, possession of an open container while driving, driving with a suspended license and driving without an interlock device. Gerkey was released for a court appearance.

Thursday, Dec. 12
7:51 a.m. - Police investigated a vehicle burglary report in the 800 block of East Route 66.

1:43 p.m. - Police investigated a found property report in the 100 block of South Glendora Avenue.

3:17 p.m. - Fraud was reported in the 900 block of East Claraday Street.

11:06 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Walmart, 1950 East Auto Centre Drive. Arrested was Mauri Morales, 18, on suspicion of burglary. Morales was released for a court appearance.

Friday, Dec. 13
2:20 a.m. - A citation was issued for a reported fight, 1200 block of South Glencroft Road.

11:28 a.m. - An injury traffic collision was investigated on East Foothill Blvd at Lone Hill Avenue.

3:26 p.m. - An injury collision was investigated on South Bonnie Cove at Juanita avenues.

4:48 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Walmart. Arrested was Priscilla Flores, 30, on suspicion of burglary. Flores was issued a citation and released.

7:08 p.m. - Theft was reported in the 1200 block of South Lone Hill Avenue.

Saturday, Dec. 14
2:47 a.m. - Police investigated a missing persons report in the 700 block of East Colorado Avenue.

8:32 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was investigated in the 800 block of South Grand Avenue.

1:49 p.m. - Police investigated a missing persons report in the 100 block of West Meda Avenue.

3:41 p.m. - Grand theft Auto was investigated on South Bender at Dawson avenues.

6:54 p.m. - Trespassing was reported at Vons, 435f West Foothill Blvd. Arrested was Cameron Osbourne, 19, on suspicion of theft. Osbourne was issued a citation and released.

11:29 p.m. - Theft was investigated in the 400 block of West Gladstone Street.

Sunday, Dec. 15
3:28 p.m. - A suspicious occupied vehicle was investigated at Citrus College. Arrested was Ronald Johnson, 47, on an outstanding warrant. Johnson is being in lieu of $30,000 bail.

10:09 a.m. - Theft was investigated in the 1400 block of South Jenifer Avenue.

11:10 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was investigated in the 800 block of South Grand Avenue.

1:35 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances were investigated in the 1300 block of South Lone Hill Avenue.

2:33 p.m. - Police investigated a recovered stolen vehicle on South Sunflower Avenue at Plymouth Street.

9:07 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 block of South Lone Hill Avenue. Arrested was Patricia Chavis, 45, on suspicion of DUI, exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level, driving without a license and failure to provide proof of insurance. Chavis was held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
