Ribbon Cutting and Opening Ceremony for Citywide Smile Week

In celebration of Oral Health Month & National Orthodontic Month, Glendora is celebrating its First Annual Citywide Smile Week. The Glendora Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting and opening ceremony for Citywide Smile Week on Monday, October 14th. In attendance were Jafar Assaf, D.D.S. & Gina Assaf, D.D.S. of Glendora Dental Center, M. Melissa Francisco, D.D.S. of GlenDental, Vernadette Nazareno of Image Orthodontics, staff and invited guests.

Also in attendance were Glendora Mayor Joe Santoro and Glendora Planning Commissioner Dr. Cliff Hamlow. The Chamber was represented by Vice President D.J. Jafari, Board Members Gina Crome and Phil Goss, and Ambassadors Tracey Berry and Keith Van Vliet, with Chamber Executive Director Joe Cina who all presented certificate to mark the start of this week's festivities.

Citywide Smile Week, will be hosted by Image Orthodontics, in partnership with Glendora Chamber of Commerce, M. Melissa Francisco, D.D.S., Sachin Desai , D.D.S. ,Guadalupe Corder, D.D.S., Jafar Assaf, D.D.S., and oral surgeon Joseph Anthony, D.D.S., M.S. The idea behind this week is to spread smiles throughout Glendora while educating our community on the importance of good oral care.

Please join us at the Bidwell Forum in the Glendora Library on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. A great way to Meet & Greet your local dentists to discuss oral care and answer questions you may have. They will also provide free dental hygiene kits.
