ROMS Drama Production of "The Drowsy Chaperone" received 3 National Titles and 10 additional nominations for excellence in Theater.

We had two actors receive awards, as well as the BEST Junior Division Ensemble!

ROMS Drama Production of “The Drowsy Chaperone” has received 3 National Titles and 10 additional nominations for excellence in Theater. The National Youth Arts Awards adjudicate high school, middle school, community and professional theater productions all over the United States. We had two actors receive awards, as well as the BEST Junior Division Ensemble!

Supporting Actor (Junior Division): Riley Smith as Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone

In our division, we were the only outright Middle school to receive honors. All other recognitions were for Junior High students performing in High School pieces, community theater groups, and “pay to participate” productions. We also received honors for best Set Design, Choreography, and Best Direction. There is no age division for these categories, so we held our own right along Theater companies and performing arts high schools.
