ROMS drama takes 10 national titles in National Youth Arts awards
as well as 29 additional nominations!

ROMS drama has taken 10 national titles in the National Youth Arts awards, as well as 29 additional nominations! We are so happy that our Spring musical, as well as last year's summer shows which were for 3-9th grade, and a high school program, also won awards and recognitions!
This has been our most successful year EVER at the NYA's, and we are honored to be hosting our region's award ceremony on June 16th.
Over 600 productions spanning 17 states were submitted this year, and our students were recognized as the best in their categories. These students are evaluated and scored by judges affiliated with the NYAs, and are recognized on stage at a regional ceremony at the HK Baird Theater. Please join us on June 16th for the awards ceremonies. The award winners will be formally presented with their awards on stage and nomination certificates will be available at the registration table for the nominees.
This year we also took two technical awards (set design and direction) which are not separated into a Junior Division, but evaluated along side high school and performing arts school productions.
