School Threat In Glendora Draws Family Concern

Classes resumed at Glendora's St. Lucy's Priory High School following an unidentified threat made toward the school over the holiday.

GLENDORA, CA — St. Lucy's Priory High School dealt with an unspecified threat they received over holiday break, ultimately deciding to keep the doors open Monday, according to officials.

Glendora police Monday were investigating an unspecified threat against St. Lucy's Priory High School.
"On Friday ... St. Lucy's Priory High School reported a threat they received in the mail over the holiday break," Glendora police said in a statement posted on the department's Facebook page.

"This information was relayed to all St. Lucy's families via email on Sunday ... from the principal, Sister Helen Dziuk," the statement said. "From the time of this report, Glendora police detectives and St. Lucy's staff have continuously investigated this incident, and created a safety plan together that was in place this morning when classes resumed."

Police officers and detectives were on the campus, along with regular school security personnel, according to the statement.
