Traffic was hampered by a small grass fire that burned near the eastbound Interstate 210 freeway and Sunflower Avenue, early Monday.
Fire fighters were dispatched to the fire at 5:51 a.m. The fire spread to about one-quarter of an acre of grass and was extinguished in about 30 minutes., with knockdown being called at 6:21 a.m., said inspector Tony Akins of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A Glendora Police Officer reported sparks being thrown off a moving vehicle may have been the cause of the small fire, said Lieutenant Matt Williams of Glendora Police.
