Spirit of Sport Award

COHS was awarded the 32nd Annual Kenny Fagans CIF-Southern Section Shake for Sportsmanship Award

This past spring our high school was awarded the 32nd Annual Kenny Fagans CIF-Southern Section Shake for Sportsmanship Award representing the Sierra League for the 2013-2014 school year.

Our efforts were commended and recognized on behalf of our administration, faculty, student body and community.

CIF-SS and the Dodgers invited a student representative possessing a minimum 3.5 grade point average or higher -- Kory Brown, and Dominic Farrar -- to attend the May 28th Dodger game and receive the commemorative plaque.

Character development skills are essential components to our athletic programs so it was very rewarding to be recognized by our former league schools and competitors, celebrating our spirit for sport. Our entire community should take real pride and ownership in this achievement.

Congratulations.
