St. Lucy's Barnum Shows Stuff At CIF Track And Field Finals
The Regents jumper Sarah Barnum just missed qualifying for the CIF Masters Meet next weekend.
There will be no Masters Meet qualifiers for St. Lucy's High School, yet senior Sarah Barnum had a very respectable day for the Regents.
Barnum competed in the Division 3 long and triple jump at Saturday's CIF-Southern Section Divisional Finals, taking sixth and fourth-place finishes home.
In both events, Barnum lost to San Luis Obispo's Abrianna Torres, who won the long jump with a 19 feet, 11.50 inches mark and the triple at 37-06.00. In comparison, Barnum's best long jump was 17-05.50 and her best triple jump was good for 37-00.00.
