Thieves Steal 60 Car Batteries From Glendora Walmart
The overnight burglary was one of the bigger thefts to occur at the store.

A nighttime burglary at the Glendora occurred in the overnight hours Oct. 11.
According to Lt. Joe Ward, sometime after 8 p.m. burglars cut the lock to a battery storage cage in the automotive department and proceeded to steal 60 car batteries from a metal storage container.
The automotive manager made the discovery about 7:45 this morning, but the burglary wasn’t reported until after 9 a.m.

Each battery was worth about $9, Ward said.
The store is in the process of reviewing security footage to try and identify the suspect or suspects.

Thieves could have been targeting the batteries for their lead content.
Ward said this was one of the bigger thefts that have happened at that Walmart.
