USC Choral Leadership Workshop

On October 17, 2015, eight of our top choir students in the district took part in the USC Choral Leadership workshop. They used their own time and a few Charger Time rehearsals to prepare four very difficult South American pieces from Venezuela, Cuba, and Argentina. Then together with 150 other choral leaders from around Southern California they spent the day working on the pieces with a world renown Venezuelan conductor and clinician named Maria Guinand. They finished the day with a tour of the USC campus. We are very proud of these students and how they represented our district to the choral community.
