What does "BARK!" mean?

"BARK!" That's the team cry of the Washington Elementary School Bulldogs.

"BARK!" That's the team cry of the Washington Elementary School Bulldogs. "What does "BARK!" mean?" you ask. It's the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) acronym chosen by Washington Elementary, and it stands for the character traits of the awesome students there: Be Prepared, Act Responsibly, Respect Others, and Keep Safe. Students who exhibit "BARK" behavior can earn "bones" to make purchases at the mobile student store featured here by Principal, Erin Villaverde and School Psychologist, Jonathan Roa. Activities can also be earned including dance time and game time with Ms. Villaverde and other students. If you have or know students who attend Washington Elementary, don't forget to encourage them to be on their best "BARK!" behavior whether at school, home, or out in the community.
