I live in the Monrovia area, and for the last few years I've tried to find a group of musicians who like to get together just for the fun of it. Although I love to sing lead and backup and play percussion, making a living in the music industry just wasn't in the cards for me. I've accepted the fact that I'll never be famous, but what I really miss is the fun and camaraderie of making music with other like minded people. It seems, though, that we're all so busy making a living, raising kids, etc., etc. that we don't have time to enjoy an important part of ourselves--the part that loves to make music. So here's a challenge--can we pull our artistic side out of mothballs and start having some fun with it again?
