Woman Reportedly Robbed at Gunpoint
Man nabbed a shopper's purse outside a Glendora store Saturday afternoon.
A man with a gun reportedly robbed a woman of her purse in the Sam's Club parking lot, Saturday.
The alleged crime happened around 5:25 p.m.
The suspect, described as a male white, 20-25 years old, walked up to the woman, who was in the process of unloading her purchases, and demanded her purse. She refused and the suspect yanked the purse from her, said Lieutenant James DeMond of Glendora Police.
The type of gun used was described as a small revolver, DeMond said.
The suspect jumped into a waiting black Acura and the vehicle fled eastbound through the parking lot, DeMond said.
Police are still investigating.
