One of the nation's premier whisky tasting events is making its first-ever stop on the San Francisco Peninsula this summer.
On Friday, Aug. 28, Whiskies of the World will debut at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, inviting guests to explore more than 200 whiskies and other distilled spirits from around the world while enjoying one of the California coast's most scenic waterfront settings.
The nationally recognized event brings together distillers, brand ambassadors, and whisky enthusiasts for an immersive tasting experience featuring everything from prestigious single malts and Scotch to bourbon, rye, Japanese whisky, and emerging craft distilleries. Designed for both longtime connoisseurs and curious newcomers, the event combines tastings with opportunities to learn about different styles, production methods, and flavor profiles directly from industry experts.
Each ticket includes unlimited whisky tastings, culinary bites from local chefs, and a branded nosing glass for sampling throughout the evening. VIP admission also offers early entry and access to exclusive, limited-release pours.
Hosted at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company overlooking Pillar Point Harbor, the event marks the first time Whiskies of the World has come to the Coastside. The waterfront venue provides a fitting backdrop for an evening of global whisky tastings, conversations with distillers, and culinary pairings.
Whiskies of the World takes place from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 28. The event is open to guests 21 and older with valid identification.
