"I’m concerned about what’s in the food I bring home from the grocery store every week. Although I can get basic information on calories and nutrients, there’s something that’s missing. Basic information on whether or not my food has been genetically engineered isn’t included on the package, and I think that’s just flat out wrong. I have the right to know what’s in the food that I eat and that I feed to my family every day."
Does that sound familiar to you? Would you like to know what is in your food?
Anyone potentially interested should attend the meeting at New Leaf tomorrow at 10:30. There questions can be answered and appropriate positions and various volunteer opportunities around HMB (according to what works for people) can be discussed.
