Two Decades of Passion, One Incredible School

The Mission-Hayward school is owned and operated by Monika Sharma, an entrepreneur who built her career around early childhood education. With more than 20 years of experience spanning the classroom, franchise ownership and business development, Sharma brings a rare combination of heart and expertise to Mission-Hayward.

“I’ve spent my career helping children learn and helping families find programs they can trust. Building Kidz Schools brings those two things together in a way I haven’t seen anywhere else,” said Sharma. “The performing arts aren’t an add-on here - they are the foundation of how children learn, and I can’t wait to welcome families on June 27 so they can see our campus and meet the dedicated team we have built.”

Not Your Average Preschool

Building Kidz transforms early childhood education by making performing arts the heartbeat of learning. For children ages 2–6, music, dance, theater and play aren’t reward activities - they’re the vehicle through which literacy, math and social-emotional skills are taught. The school’s proprietary curriculum also includes secondary language instruction for children ages 3 and up, giving Bay Area families an edge that’s rarely found in early education. The Mission-Hayward campus goes further, offering infant and toddler care starting at age 3, providing a full continuum of care under one roof.

“Monika is exactly the kind of owner who thrives with Building Kidz. She’s an experienced educator and proven operator who is deeply invested in her community,” said Sanjay Gehani Partner and CRO of Building Kidz School. “Her new school reflects the growing demand from Bay Area families for early education that builds confidence and creativity. We’re thrilled to celebrate this opening with her and the Mission-Hayward community.”
