HEALDSBURG, CA — A teen facing his eleventh arrest in the last year now faces multiple felony charges after police say he stormed out of the police station, grabbed a rock, and launched it through a window where an employee was sitting moments earlier.

On Thursday, officers at the Healdsburg Police Department said Alexis Jimenez Martinez, 18, walked into the department lobby.

Police said officers attempted to calm the situation and communicate with him, but the encounter quickly escalated.

Police allege Jimenez Martinez abruptly walked out of the building, retrieved a rock outside, and threw it through the front window of the station.

The rock shattered the glass directly above a workstation occupied by a police records supervisor, who was not injured.

Police said they arrested Jimenez Martinez outside the station. During the arrest, they said he resisted officers and attempted to kick out the windows of a patrol vehicle.

Police booked him into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of felony vandalism, felony probation violation, and committing a felony while out on bail.

Healdsburg police said the arrest marks the eleventh time he has been taken into custody during the past year.
