HEALDSBURG, CA — A possible gun threat put two Healdsburg campuses on alert today.
Healdsburg High School and Fitch Mountain Campus imposed precautionary shelter-in-place orders while police searched both sites.
The orders followed an incident that happened off campus. Deputies from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office were called in to assist Healdsburg police.
The Sheriff's Office will provide more information about the incident, according to a statement by Healdsburg police.
Students and staff remained safe, and authorities reported no victims or injuries. Police said they did not believe any ongoing danger threatened either campus.
