When did my vote stopped counting? When did majority rule, which up to this point, got me in a lottery to be drafted, then recently sent us to war for 10 years based on a lie and stops me from taking my groceries home in a plastic bag, get canceled. I mean, how does a group of politicians decide unilaterally because they don't like a law, that I voted for, threated to shut down the government and tough beans to anyone who doesn't like it.
Who are these people? Did they speak out against it? I am all for demonstrating(thank god for the hell no I won't go folks- I'd still be waiting for a pair of dry socks in some rice paddy if it wasn't for them) Did they contest the law in court? ( yes and they lost) Finally they did vote and now they don't want to play by the rule of law because they lost.
How is it an elected official gets to decide in the face of majority rule that he/she doesn't like it and is going their own way?
Everyone knows (school children know) in order for society to continue in an orderly manner we all have to adhere to a set of rules, that is why I was surprised that Kit Bobko decided to join the Tea Party and act like he hasn't got clue.
His background, and obvious political aspirations would make one think he would have some understanding of the system, in which, he so desires to succeed and instead he proceeds to make sophomoric mistakes over and over again. Even more surprising is the defense mounted by his political running mate M. Divirglio who tried to turn this last fiasco from willfully violating a procedural issue into one of free speech. Nice try but not even close.
You don't have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing-
can you smell the money and oil in he air?
