A really big problem in the world is fishing nets. They kill lots of marine life, and are a cause of ocean pollution. Instead lets switch to fish farms. They kill lots of marine life such as cetaceans and sea turtles. Yearly fishing nets kill 250,000 Sea Turtles and 300,000 cetaceans (whales, dolphins, porpoises). This is very sad. They also are a cause of pollution. Specifically ten percent of the pollution. They make beaches not beautiful. They are also a big hassle to clean up. Though fishing nets bring in lots of fish, fish farms are less harmful and have lots of fish. Also, they do not harm any other marine life. Fish farms are the best choice right now so we do not kill any more marine life. Fishing nets are big problems because the cause deaths to other marine life, and they cause pollution. Instead of fishing nets lets use fish farms.
