• Earthquake Off Hermosa Beach Felt in LA Area (patch.com) — A small earthquake off the coast of Hermosa Beach shook parts of Los Angeles County Sunday morning, but local police and fire officials reported no damage or service calls. The 3.6-magnitude quake struck about four miles southwest of town, and authorities in Hermosa Beach and nearby Torrance checked key infrastructure without finding problems.
