HERMOSA BEACH, CA — The annual Hermosa for the Holidays event will bring a tree-lighting ceremony, live music, shopping and family activities to downtown Hermosa Beach later this month.
Presented by the nonprofit Hermosa Beach Chamber Foundation, the event on Nov. 21 and 22 combines a holiday-themed open house and tree-lighting ceremony with entertainment throughout the weekend.
Organizers said activities will include a Ferris wheel at Pier Plaza, a Letters to Santa station, photos with Santa Claus and shopping options featuring local artisans and retailers. A Giving Village will feature local nonprofits and opportunities to support their work.
Musical entertainment is set to include South Bay Music Connection, Coast Music and Jeremy Buck's Rock for Tots Show, which is marking its 20th year.
Seasonal activities will continue beyond the weekend with local promotions, an Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt and holiday shopping.
