America’s #1 travel magazine, TRAVELHOST, expands into the Long Beach and South Bay area of Southern California with its premiere issue launching February 1st, 2013. The nationally recognized publishing hub reaches travelers around the globe across all platforms—from print versions available in guestrooms in hundreds of cities, to online at travelhost.com and on-the-go mobile resources.
Long Beach resident, Dan Lipton, has been selected as the Associate Publisher and owner/operator of TRAVELHOST of Long Beach & South Bay Magazine. Over the course of the last year, Lipton has worked closely with area chambers of commerce and convention and visitors bureaus to choose local recommendations and various hotel distribution points. The new edition with be distributed in over 60 hotels, Visitor Centers, and Chamber of Commerce offices—totaling 9500 hotel guest rooms with a reach of 185,000 travelers per month—in the areas of Cerritos, Seal Beach, Long Beach, Catalina Island, Carson, San Pedro, Signal Hill, San Pedro, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach.
“The debut issue will include maps, schedule of events and unique editorial content that reflects the essence of the areas in which it will be distributed,” Lipton says, “by making recommendations to visitors for local dining, shopping, entertainment, attractions and professional services. This type of content will be a vital part of the approach to the marketplace and will promote the communities.”
