Our blood drive held for Providence LCM Hospital collected an amazing 60 pints of life saving blood last April 21. Almost 70 people came to the Clark Building to help others who are fighting for their lives everyday. All blood donors received a Ticket for 2 to The Comedy & Magic Club & free dessert from Fritto Misto Italian Cafe. Providence's incentive is an In & Out Burger Gift Card. Donors with Blood Type O negative, the universal recipient, were given a "Recycle Yourself " bag & mug from Providence. O negative blood is given to patients in an emergency and can be administered without testing their blood type! Thank you so much for participating in our 10th Hermosa Beach Blood Drive. Together we have once again helped replenished our community blood supply. We have brought over 400 pints of blood to date, and every pint can save up to 3 lives!
