At this time of a massive flu outbreak & other virus strains that have no "conscience" 8(, we had over 50 people come in to give blood at the Clark building yesterday! It was great to see familiar faces and meet new donors. I am deeply proud that we, as a community have once again successfully helped replenish our blood supply. You have the biggest hearts and give so freely - you have not only helped patients but their loved ones as well. Be the Match Marrow Registry signed up 5 new donors, which means five more chances of a patient finding a bone marrow match! Thanks to the Comedy & Magic Club for donating show tickets and their generous support of our blood drive! We appreciate the delicious pitas , personally delivered by Zach Graham of The Pita Pit. And most of all, thank you so much to all of you who took time off your Sunday to help make our blood drive a successful one! One pint can save up to 3 lives. We can safely donate every 56 days.
