Billabong Rio Pro: Rap-up

A week ago the ASP World Tour’s 4th stop finished with a bang. In the semi-finals, Michel Bourez and Taj Burrow were in the same heat; winner would go against Kelly Slater or Kolohe Andino in the finals. Michel and Kolohe were the underdogs of the heats, and after thirty minutes of intense surfing, both won. It would be a finals to look forward to, as the Rio Pro would soon come to an end.

As Kolohe and Michel paddled out, all eyes were on the two surfers. In an amazing final, the two surfers were going for big barrels and amazing airs. When the clock started to tick to an end, the crowd cheered as the victorious Michel Bourez paddled in to claim his second win of the season.
It was an exciting competition and one to remember, but the tour must go on. In
