Authorities Release Name of Redondo Man Found Dead on Beach

John Burke of Redondo Beach has been identified as the the 79-year-old man found deceased on the beach April 2 in Hermosa, said Detective Mick Gaglia of the HB Police Department Tuesday.

The man was discovered near the shoreline between Fourth and Fifth streets. He was fully clothed and had his wallet on him. Foul play is not suspected. The Los Angeles County coroner's office is investigating the death, he said.
