Do you have a song that you can listen to when you just want to relax or slow things down, a feel good song? I know I do, and the band that plays it will be HERE at Saint Rocke. Rocking large and in charge since the early 80’s, Big Country has “crossed the pond” and is playing live on Sunday, June 23rd. Starting, June 6th, Big Country will start their summer tour, beginning in New Jersey and ending in Dallas on August 14th. I love these guys! In a Big Country is one of my feel good songs. I can listen to it when I'm pissed at the world, and feel better after. On the flip side, I can listen to it on a nice sunny day on the beach and feel all the better.
It never ceases to amaze me how much of an impact music can have on your life. I did find the trick to it though; let music have an impact on your life. Discover new bands and live music. Sing in the car and in the shower no matter how tone deaf you are. Just accept and be enlightened. With that being said, come on down to Saint Rocke, get a couple drinks, some good food and just feel better while watching some Scottish legends play up on stage. DO IT BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
