An Interview with Mr. Hecker

         Today we interviewed the amazing Mr. Hecker. First we asked what his favorite thing to teach in science class was, and he said, “Things that have a big picture, that affect things on a major scale.” He then told us that he got his degree for becoming a teacher in 2005 at California State University.

         We learned next that he thinks that it is fun and interesting teaching here because he came here as a child. He told us about his band, “Its OK!” He also used to work with a band called “Redd Kross”.  He told us that he loves his two children Olivia and Oliver. He enjoys playing with his children and teaching them at the same time.

         We then learned that he wasn’t always a science teacher. He was once a P.E. teacher, music teacher, and a health teacher. He also enjoys other things such as track and music.
