Normal School vs. Malibu Outdoor Science School

Normal school is all about math, science, social studies and language arts. At Malibu Outdoor Science School students are given freedoms and opportunities they wouldn’t normally have.

          At normal school, you have 55 minutes at each class to get what you need done. Each class has different subjects, homework and teachers. It’s important to pace yourself and do all the homework you need. You need to remember 5 lessons a day, which can be chaotic.

At Malibu Science Camp, you have one subject. Science. You only have one teacher, so you know what you need to do. You have to be responsible for what you pack, how you deal with problems and other people.Malibu Science School and Normal School are very different. One is about many subjects and many responsibilities; the other is all about science and the outdoors.
