Songwriter Showcase at Saint Rocke

Join us Wednesday night for our September lineup of music for your souls and earholes 🎶🎤🎸💖

In no particular order:

1. Aunty Lezlie Rocks was born in Hawai’i and raised in San Francisco and Oceanside. She started singing with her brother Timothy back in 1996 while caring for their mom, who had Alzheimer’s.

2. Mona Lucine is a local indie folk artist currently recording her debut EP. Her second single is set to drop this fall.

3. Nathan Benedict is originally from Sierra Madre. Now living in Hermosa Beach, he’s into surfing, artsy TV shows, and movies.

4. BJ Arnold is a veteran of New York’s Bleecker Street who now calls the South Bay home. When he’s not playing solo acoustic gigs at spots like Uncorked Wine Shop, you’ll find him walking the Hermosa wood chip path with his trusty lab, Elvis.

5. Nameless Nights, based out of San Pedro, is a group of musicians who love to play, write, and record. Their debut EP is on the way, with plenty of badass music still to come.

6. Alex Seier is a musician and songwriter from Eastern Pennsylvania, now based in Nashville. He’s toured the world and has been featured on MTV, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Today Show, and Ellen.

7. Originally from Long Island, Mikey Jerome is everyone’s favorite bartender and the host of the songwriter night at Project Barley in Redondo Beach. You can also find his music streaming on Spotify.

8. Rowland is a family band made up of three siblings and their uncle. They started writing songs together in 2019 and just released their debut album, No Roller Skating, which is streaming everywhere now!

9. Greg Artavia is a singer-songwriter from Orange County. He hosts and curates Writers Round events in Fullerton, OC, and Laguna Beach.

10. Bill Filipiak is a Nashville singer-songwriter who moved to El Porto last July. His albums have landed on the Americana charts, and his new single, Americana Coast, just dropped.
