Hermosa for the Holidays, Nov. 21–22 | Ferris Wheel, Santa, Sip & Shop and Live Local Music

The Hermosa Beach Chamber Foundation and City of Hermosa Beach will present the 6th Annual Hermosa for the Holidays on November 21–22, 2026, in downtown Hermosa Beach and on Pier Plaza. With Skechers as title sponsor and Ferris wheel sponsor, the weekend pairs holiday shopping and live music with a Sunday tradition: Santa arriving on a Hermosa Beach fire truck to light the city’s holiday tree.

Visitors can browse Saturday’s pop-up market for gifts from local artisans, sip and shop at participating businesses both days and see how downtown shops deck out their windows for the holiday decorating competition. Local artists will play in front of Java Man Cafe, and Pier Plaza will host live music both days, including Jeremy Buck’s Rock for Tots Show, now in its 20th year.

Saturday, November 21

• 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Shopping & Pop-Up Market, Pier Plaza. Browse gifts from local vendors.
• 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | Sip & Shop, participating downtown businesses.
• 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Letters to Santa, Pier Plaza. Presented by Beach Cities Health District. Children can drop their wish lists in the holiday mailbox for delivery to the North Pole.
• Noon–9 p.m. | Ferris Wheel, Pier Plaza. Sponsored by Skechers. Tickets are available at the on-site ticket booth.
• 2–7 p.m. | Rock The Plaza Holiday Concert, Pier Plaza. Presented by South Bay Music Connection, featuring local artists.

Sunday, November 22

• 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Photos with Santa, Pier Plaza. Families and pets are welcome to pose with Santa and his sleigh.
• 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | Sip & Shop, participating downtown businesses.
• Noon–9 p.m. | Ferris Wheel, Pier Plaza. Sponsored by Skechers. Tickets are available at the on-site ticket booth.
• 1–6 p.m. | Nonprofit Giving Village, Pier Plaza. Meet local nonprofits and enjoy cocoa, cookies and crafts.
• 2–2:45 p.m. | Coast Music, Pier Plaza 
• 3–3:45 p.m. | South Bay Music Connection, Pier Plaza

The Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt takes visitors into participating stores to spot the elf. Beginning on November 13th, participants can drop off their completed postcards by November 22 to receive a prize.
