By:Rachel D Jeff Duclos works in public relations and works for Chuck Norris. Jeff is 68 years old and has been working on public relations for 30 years. May 31st, Jeff told the sixth grade journalism class that working in public relations had its moments, like traveling, working for celebrities, and getting paid to do things other people don’t get to do. Jeff gets to travel all over the world with Chuck and some places they’ve been include Iraq, Texas, Germany, Ireland, New York, West Point, and many others. Mr. Duclos, on the city council helped hire a new city manager. Some of Jeff’s interests include surfing, snowboarding, and taking walks with his family. He went to both San Diego State College and UCLA College. His favorite color is blue and second favorite color is purple. Jeff is also partly color blind and can’t tell if some colors look like what they are. He has two children and a wife who is a Journalism teacher at Hermosa Valley School. In public relations you have to be a good writer, be able to communicate, speak in front of the public, and you have to listen to people. Mr. Duclos is an inspiring, nice, and thoughtful man with a great personality.
