City Suggests You Walk or Cycle to FinFest
As with any large event in Hermosa Beach, the city notes that parking structures fill up quickly.

On Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10, Discovery Channel brings a free, family-friendly event called FinFest (www.finfest.com) to Hermosa Beach.
SHARK WEEK’s FinFest is a two-day, two-night celebration on the shores of Hermosa Beach and is touted as a fin-tastic event to further excite, entertain, educate and interact with fans around SHARK WEEK with a unique, one-of-a-kind experience to act as the kickoff to Shark Week 2014.
As with any large event in Hermosa Beach, the city notes that parking structures fill up quickly. It is advised that if possible, you plan to walk or ride your bicycle to the festival for an enjoyable experience.
To receive immediate updates regarding traffic or street closures, the Hermosa Beach Police Department advises you to sign up to receive important updates through Nixle (http://nixle.com/city-of-hermosa-beach/). Nixle is a free service that will send you advisories through text and/or email notifications from the City’s police department.
