El Camino College to Present Spring Concert Band Performance

The El Camino College Fine Arts Division’s Music Department will host a performance by the Concert Band at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26 in the Marsee Auditorium.
The Concert Band performance will be directed by El Camino College professor Dane Teter. The production will also feature student conductors, Kyle Kawahara and Ivan Alcantar.
The concert program is set to include Galante’s “Cry of the Last Unicorn,” Smith’s “Brazil: Ceremony, Song and Samba,” Shaffer’s “Legend of the Sword,” Ticheli’s “Shenandoah,” Smith’s “The Great Locomotive Chase,” Menken’s “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” and Silvestri’s “Captain America March.”

Students can enjoy half-off their ticket price when presenting a current ECC ASB sticker, thirty minutes prior to the performance.
Tickets to the Concert Band performance are $10 and may be purchased at www.centerforthearts.org, by phone at 310-329-5345 or toll-free at 800-832-ARTS. The Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Campus Parking is $3. The Marsee Auditorium is located at 16007 Crenshaw Boulevard, Torrance.
