The Hermosa Beach Pier is one of the premier locations in the world to host Beach volleyball tournaments. Players travel from all over the world to train at this gorgeous location. The deep sand and deeper local talent pool coupled with the nearby bars and restaurants make for very competitive action on the court and a festive, party-like atmosphere on the sidelines.
The only way to guarantee a spot in the tournament is to sign up online before the deadline(usually 5 p.m. the day before the event. AVP qualifiers will be 5 p.m. on Wednesday). Walk-up entries will be taken only to fill out a pool and are taken at the tournament director's discretion.
All events will check in from 8 a.m.–8:30 a.m. Play will start promptly at 9 a.m. If you have not registered by 8:30 a.m. you may be dropped from the tournament.
