The parade consists of 80 to 120 units, including marching bands, bagpipers, dignitaries, local organizations, floats and more. It starts at the intersection of Pier and Valley, marches west to Hermosa Avenue, turns south on Hermosa and ends at 8th Street.
The festival runs Saturday and Sunday. It opens on Saturday after the parade (though vendors are set up before the parade begins).
A stage featuring Irish music and step-dancing and and vendors line Pier Plaza. A kiddie carnival, petting zoo and food court are located just off the parade route.
