Our trip begins with free time at the Laguna Arts Festival where local artisans display their works. Or you can take a walk down the street to the Sawdust Festival, where you’ll find a wide variety of handcraft booths selling jewelry, pottery, art, clothing and food. Please note: There is a small admission charge for the Sawdust Festival ($7.75 Adult, $6.25 Senior- 65+, $3.25 Children- 6-12, and FREE Children- 5 and under) not included in your excursion ticket cost. Dinner is on your own at one of the local restaurants, or concession stands or you’re welcome to bring a picnic basket to enjoy. At 8:30pm the 90 minute show, “Pageant of the Masters,” begins. The show consists of “living pictures,” which are re-creations of contemporary and classical works of art with real people posing to look exactly like the original pieces. Our reserved seats are located in the Main Tier Side of the outdoor amphitheater.

Excursion meeting place is the Community Center, 710 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, California, 90254. Letters will be sent to all registered participants approximately one week before excursion date to confirm departure and return times.
