Trevor Hall's self-titled Vanguard debut embodies soulfulness, depth and passion. Trevor combines a unique musical mix of reggae and acoustic rock that serves as a landscape for his thought-provoking, inspiring lyrics.
Originally from South Carolina, singer, lyricist and guitarist, Trevor Hall is most known for his songs "The Lime Tree" and "Other Ways" which was featured in the Shrek The Third soundtrack. He has been writing and performing since his early teens and has released two independent recordings.
Peter Goetz's sound is stripped-down and soulful. His heartfelt delivery welcomes the audience into his world, his perspective and his struggle to make sense of it all. Goetz's style vacillates between acoustic rock and world soul. His self-released EP, "Outside Observer" is a five-song medley that demonstrates his versatility as a singer and songwriter. "I Got Love" is a bright, light-hearted melody that captures optimism in the face of defeat. While "Mid American Tragedy" is a social parody knocking egocentric, intolerant, closed-minded Americans.
