Hermosa Bank Robber Strikes in OC
A man who robbed a bank in Hermosa Beach last month is still at large and may have struck again, police say.

A man who robbed $3,000 from a bank in Huntington Beach today is the same suspect who robbed a bank in Hermosa Beach last month, police said.
The suspect, described as white and in his late 30s or early 40s, entered the Citibank in the 20900 block of Magnolia Street about noon and exited after a few minutes, according to Huntington Beach police.
He returned about 1 p.m. and gave a teller multiple names, police said.

“After speaking with her for 10 minutes, the suspect passes the teller a note stating he has a gun and demanding money,” according to a police statement.
He fled with $3,000 and was last seen walking northbound on Magnolia, police said. No gun was seen.

The suspect was about 6 feet tall, heavy set with brown hair and was wearing a pink button-down shirt and white cargo shorts. Police said he appears to be the same suspect who robbed a Hermosa Beach bank on Nov. 14.
