To accomplish this, we are gathering community input through a 5-7 minute online survey. The deadline for completing the survey is March 22.

March 09, 2020

You can help the school district improve the learning environment for your child by taking a short survey. The state of California requires school districts to develop a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The purpose of the Hermosa Beach City School District (HBCSD) LCAP process is to gather feedback on the design and district's progress in meeting our goals for the 2019-2020 school year. To accomplish this, we are gathering community input through a 5-7 minute online survey. Your participation is critical to this decision-making process, and we appreciate your assistance with this survey.

Take the Survey

We are looking to top last year's response rate for the survey. Parent input is critical to the development and refinement of our district goals and to measure the implementation of the School Board's Vision and Mission. Please visit the HBCSD website for more information on the LCAP and the District vision and mission and help us spread the word about this survey to other parents and primary caregivers through social media.

We recognize that not all children, even when they are from the same family, have the same experiences. When answering your questions, you will have the opportunity to respond based on the experiences of up to three of your children. One child will be Child A, one Child B, and, if you have three, the third will be Child C. Please answer the questions for your children with consistency. For example, Child A should be the same child for all the questions.

The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, March 22, 2020.

Thank you for your participation and for your input.
