The demolition activities for old North School are set on begin Monday, October 14, with the arrival of an excavator in the morning. Two temporary no parking stalls have been designated closest to the intersection of Morningside and Gould to facilitate its delivery, and will be returned to public use by 4pm Monday afternoon. Building demolition will commence once the excavator is unloaded, but there will be no disturbance of the existing soils on Monday. There will be an on-site fire hose connection and hoses for dust control. Sound mitigation panels have been installed at adjacent properties of the site.
