Hermosa Beach PD Warns of Phone Scams
Do not give money or your personal information to anyone, officials say.
A press release from the Hermosa Beach Police Department:
Numerous phone scams are occurring regularly that demand money be sent or credit card information be given.
The scams involve calling grandparents, calls from the IRS stating you owe money, or a utility company calling stating your behind in your payments and if you don't pay now services will be turned off.
