Hermosa Beach Police to Host Open House/Safety Fair

The Hermosa Beach Police Department invites you to a public safety fair and open house tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot, located at 1315 Valley Drive.

This event will include free bicycle safety instructions courtesy of the South Bay Bicycle Coalition and Beach Cities Cycling Club, and The Old Bike Shop and Hermosa Cyclery will be providing free onsite bicycle inspections.

There will be safety and crime prevention exhibits by The Hermosa Beach Disaster Service Workers and Hermosa Beach Neighborhood Watch, a firearms training simulator, goodie bags for adults and children, a bounce house, free child I.D. kits, free gun locks, raffle prizes courtesy of local businesses, and a special appearance by Santa! Free food will also be available to the public, courtesy of the Hermosa Beach Police Officers’ Association.

As part of our community outreach efforts, the Police Department’s doors will be open to the public. Everyone is invited to tour the police facility and enjoy the activities.
